What is Travel with Scout?
Travel with Scout is a family travel app that keeps your itinerary, packing lists, expenses, documents, and family safety tools all in one place — so planning and taking trips with your family is calm and organized.
Is it free?
Yes! You can create unlimited trips, build itineraries and packing lists, use family check-ins, and more for free. Premium ($7.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 7-day free trial) unlocks AI planning, document storage, expenses, travel tools, and live location sharing.
Can my whole family use it together?
Absolutely. Invite co-parents, grandparents, and travel partners to a trip so everyone sees the same itinerary, checks in at stops, and stays in sync.
How does live location sharing work? Is it private?
Location sharing is completely opt-in. When you turn it on for a trip, your location is shared only with members of that trip, and only while sharing is enabled. You can turn it off anytime, and we don't store your location beyond your active trip session.
Are the safety features a replacement for supervising my kids?
No. Our check-ins, child profiles, and SOS tools are designed to support parents and caregivers — they are never a substitute for actively supervising your children. You're always responsible for your family's safety.
Does it work offline?
Yes. You can view and update your trips offline, and changes sync automatically when you're back online — perfect for flights and spots with no signal.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, select Travel with Scout, and tap Cancel. You'll keep Premium until the end of your billing period.
